10 Ugliest Production Motorcycles

Everyone has their own taste. This is apparent when something we find so ugly is a big seller. What do others see in it, we wonder? Maybe they think my bike is ugly. It's all relative. This is a list of bikes that we think are ugly and some that others think are ugly. This, of course is all in fun and we hope you will see it that way.

10. 2003 BMW R 1200 CL

This was one of BMW's earlier cruisers. Not terrible, I don't think but that Fairing!

9. 1995 Aprilia Moto 6.5

With only 42 BHP, its performance was too basic to overcome its looks. I don't know if I'd call this ugly. Unique, yes.

8. Honda Pacific Coast

This one is known for being rock solid and reliable, but it is an ugly one.

7. 1988 BMW K1

I think BMW took every lesson ever learned about aerodynamics and applied it to this bike. Sure, it probably cuts through the wind pretty well, but was it worth it?

6. Honda Bulldog

The Bulldog looks to me like a "grown up" Honda Ruckus scooter. I think this dog is barking up the wrong tree.

5. Crocker C4 Concept

Okay, this thing is intriguing....And UGLY!

4. Honda CTX Turbo

Introduced in the early 80's, this was Honda's answer to the motorcycle war and people actually loved it. I've always hated its looks, but I guess you can't argue with the majority.

3. BMW Concept

Edgar Heinrich, boss at BMW Motorrad Design, calls this six-cylinder bagger a design study that opens a new chapter in the brand’s history of concept bikes.

We first seen this bike and added it to our list, but I reluctantly say it's growing on me.

2. Harley Davidson Road Glide

This bike has become one of the most popular bikes Harley makes. When I first caught a glimpse of this "Sharknose" Fairing, I hated it. Everyone hated it. This is a great looking bike to me now and to a lot of others. But, you can't stay off the ugly list by getting the nickname "FUGLY", so here it is.

1. Victory Vision

I'll probably catch a lot of slack for this, but to me this bike wins this Ugliest Bike Contest by a landslide. I just can not get past the looks of this thing. I have heard arguments of Vision owners of how great it rides and how well built it is, etc. It better be the best riding cruiser out there if it's going to look like this. The front of this bike makes me think of Bozo the Clown. Can you see it? Sorry, Vision owners I vote this one number 1.

I hope you have enjoyed our list of Ugliest Production Bikes list. Stay tuned next time to see our Ugliest Custom Built Bike list. There's a LOT of 'em.

The Original Brexit Facts.

Our textbooks didn't teach us everything about the Revolutionary War. Check out these strange, but TRUE facts about this War that won our Freedom and paved the way to the greatest country on Earth. America!

1. Where is "Independence"?

The word "Independence" does not appear in the Declaration of Independence. It's actually titled "The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen United States of America."

2. Broadway

In cities that were controlled by the British Army, such as New York, some soldiers actually acted in professionally produced plays during the war.

3. George Washington's teeth weren't wood?

That's right. His dentures weren't made of wood as we've all been led to believe. They were actually made from a hippopotamus ivory and cows' teeth, held in place by metal springs.

4. The 1st CIA

Spying was huge in the war, and both sides sent messages using invisible ink.

5. Patriot Pirates

Because we didn't have money for a big navy to take on the mighty British Navy, we hired privateers, aka pirates, to attack British ships. They were suppose to split the pirates booty with the U.S. I wonder if the deal was kept?

6. French Kid?

The Marquis de Lafayette, who was instrumental in General Washington's victory of the British at Yorktown, was only 19 when he joined the Army as a major general.

7. Not Tarred and Feathered

It was common practice to tar and feather Loyalists, the Daughters of Liberty had a less painful way. They used molasses and flowers instead.

8. Drag King

Deborah Sampson dressed as a man and enlisted in the Fourth Massachusetts Regiment of the Continental Army. She served for over a year, until her secret was revealed while being treated for a wound. She was discharged with honor.

9. Another Paul Revere

Paul Revere was accompanied by as many as 40 men on his late night ride to let everyone know the British were coming. Two years later, a 16 year old, Sybil, the daughter of a Colonel, rode 40 miles through the night to alert New York that the British were burning down Danbury, Connecticut

10. A second tea party?

Everyone knows how Sons of Liberty dressed up as Indians and tossed 342 chests of tea from ships into the Boston Harbor to protest taxes imposed by the Tea Act, but not all know they did it a second time, 3 months later on March 7, 1774.

So as we celebrate our country's 240th birthday on Monday, let's not forget that all the hoopla in the current news about "BREXIT" is actually a sequel to the original back in the 1600's and 1700's that was the beginning of what is now the United States of America. History may have forgotten a few facts along the way, or even distorted things as they really happened, but one thing is for sure - the end result is a great nation with great citizens and freedoms enjoyed few others in the world have. Celebrate responsibly and as always...enjoy the ride!

Stealth shield. That is one sweet ride right there.

One of my favorite 9-11 tribute bikes. This is a beauty.

Facing a bit of a road block

May be a bit chilly on this ride.

Love the contrast of the dark tint against the white on this one.

Looks like a pretty fun road.

Heritage with a custom laser etched eagle.

Memphis Shades Fairing on this one.

What a site!

Can't get much closer than that!!

Goldwing 1500

 Ultra shield

All sporting their LRS.

Love the King.

One dedicated rider right here.

Nice RG action shot.

An interesting, 'no bracket' approach to this King's shield. I like it.

This must have been a tricky shot to set up.

All with their LRS.

One sweet trike.

10 crazy ways to carry your piece... on a bike

Recognizing first that different states treat gun laws and transportation laws in different ways, this article is not meant to be legal advice or even recommendations. Having explored the internet for an entire 30 minutes we discovered some unique and interesting ways that people around the world are transporting weapons on their motorcycles.... ENJOY.

1.Firstly and foremost lets talk about going big especially if you are anticipating regular firepower usage and need to exact economy of force. You may need to take the Machete approach and get your self a spinning door gun like this one. Way to commit!

2.If you live in an open carry state and you don't mind getting some road dust on your 1911 or high power then a side mounted pea shooter apparatus like this is apropos.
 3. Maybe you come from an Italian family, or have a love for the musical and rhythmic pumping of lead, but the classic Tommy gun in a violin case is always a convenient way to pack heat. It can easily be strapped down to the bike and away you go.... Keep the change you filthy animal!
4. I don't know where this is legal, but it looks awesome. The bike is reminiscent of the terminator scene where Uncle Arnold rides his Harley with a lever action shotgun.
5. I know its not a motorcycle, but we still think this one sexy tractor!
6. I have seen a couple of these floor board gun holders, check them out online, they seem like one of the most practical applications on the internet.
7.In our opinion this application is the perfect mesh of cowboy and Iron Horse.

8.WOW... JUST WOW
9. If you have the time and money you could make yourself some custom bags to carry your AR around.

10. Get some buddies to hold it for you...

Check out this Rusky Big Gun! - I wonder what the range on this was?
